NEW AND NOT NECESSARILY IMPROVED BLOG FORMAT...
I want to first thank all the readers and supporters of my blog and political thoughts. You will note that I have now associated my blog with my Law Practice and you should notice a more professional focus and tone from this point forward. I know that I post provocative political discourse and if any of my past and/or future posts offend anyone, please remember that I make excessive use of sarcasm. To that end, if you read any of my posts (like the most recent attempt at conservative humor) and you find my words offensive or seemingly inconsistent, remember that my sarcasm is simply used as a vehicle to provoke thought and not intended to insult anyone. In the next coming weeks, I will be posting a series I will refer to as "The Enlightened Curious George" which will examine the 19th century works and economic philosophy of the late great Henry George to explore if his capitalist-based ideas of extreme land taxation (which were supported by Milton Friedman) can help heal our dying capitalist patient (U.S.A.). My primary premise will be based on Henry George's premise that no labor or capital produced from other capital should be taxed at all. On the other hand, corporate land ownership should be taxed at rates as high as 90% to shift corporate ownership of land to individual ownership to ensure increased accountability for land-owners that do NOT put their land to constructive use for the good of the country. I am an unsure how to approach individually-owned land taxation and hope that the comments to this and future posts will engender a vibrant discussion among people infinitely smarter and more experienced than I. Thank you in advance for your support and G-d Bless America and liberty for all :)
